www.teamsterscare.com.The Role: The IT Operations Manager will be
responsible for managing and optimizing the company's IT
infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems.
The IT Operations Manager provides hands-on support for three
offices, Charlestown, Stoughton, and Chelmsford. This position is
based in our Charlestown, MA location and requires minimal travel
to the other locations as needed, approximately two to three times
per month.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the TeamstersCare IT infrastructure and eligibility
system, ensuring performance standards and budgets are met, ongoing
maintenance is performed, and new software and upgrades are
implemented.
- Acts as the primary liaison between system users and
third-party vendors, supporting staff with technical issues by
investigating problems and facilitating resolutions across various
systems and hardware.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of all TeamstersCare business
technical systems, including network management, server
administration, and data security.
- Manages and collaborates with our IT Managed Server Provider
(MSP) ensuring the integrity and efficiency of IT systems and
infrastructure including computers, servers, networks, and
cybersecurity.
- Partners with cross-functional teams, including Benefits,
Administration, and the Executive Director, to analyze business
needs and define actionable technical solutions.
- Manages the creation and distribution of data files for vendors
and oversees the accurate loading of electronic data from vendors
and employers into designated data repositories or TeamstersCare
systems.
- Identifies and implements system solutions to support business
objectives, while managing routine tasks and spearheading key
projects to optimize operations and recommend future
enhancements.
- Maintains expertise in emerging technologies and industry
innovations relevant to TeamstersCare. Develops and delivers
training programs to enhance staff proficiency in both new and
existing software applications, driving operational efficiency and
productivity.
- Acts as HIPAA Data Security Officer, staying current with data
security regulations and establishing policies to maintain
compliance across the organization.
- Manages TeamstersCare key fob access system, including issuing
and deactivating credentials as needed. Serves as the primary
liaison with vendor partners (e.g., Platinum Protection Systems) to
troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Creates annual and monthly participant and financial reports
for the Executive Director using various report formats.
- Works with internal systems (Bridgeway/ReportSmith), Power BI,
Access and our data warehouse, research, create, edit and run
reports, ad hoc queries, and special data requests across all
departments.
- Orders, allocates and manages IT assets inventory including
computers, printers, monitors, toners, copiers etc.
- Oversees installation of hardware and software onto computers
and maintenance checks.
- Manages the business phone system, acting as the primary point
of contact with vendors for all phone related issues and
concerns.
- Other job duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,
Management of Information Systems or a related field is
preferred.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a technical business field
preferably in healthcare, finance or insurance environment.
- Familiarity with various technologies used in providing data -
Excel, SQL, CSV, XML, etc. The ability to understand data being
provided to help ensure data integrity and troubleshooting.
- ITIL, PMP, or CISSP certifications are preferred.
- Proficiency in compliance regulations, relational database
systems, SQL scripting for reporting and XML creation for data
extraction and interfacing.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks,
servers, and security systems.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical
requirements and deliver the solution.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and recommending
technical solutions and development of technical specification
documentation.
- Self-Starter. Proven ability to work independently and under
pressure on multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and
train non-technical staff.
- Proven ability to show accuracy, timeliness, and follow-up on
tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective
working relationships with internal staff and external
organizations.
- Project management experience. Capable of handling projects
through all areas of a project life cycle (initiation, planning,
execution, closure).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal

- $90,000 - $115,000 annual salary depending on experience and
