-The Structures and Geohazards research group at FM is seeking a
creative, self-motivated postdoc eager to expand their research
experience beyond academia. Ideal candidates will have expertise in
geodetic data analysis and interpretation. This role offers the
opportunity to perform publishable work as part of a strategic
research program focused on solving real-world science and
engineering problems with immediate impact. The selected candidate
will work under the guidance of a senior research staff. This
position is for a limited term of up to three years, renewable
annually, and will be based at our FM Office in Norwood, MA, USA.
-Responsibilities:-- - - - - - - - - - Analyze multi-decadal
geodetic data documenting ground deformation (e.g., InSAR and
GNSS).-- - - - - - - - - - Create visualization tools and implement
statistical analyses to derive value from these data.-- - - - - - -
- - - Develop predictive (machine learning) models to enable global
monitoring of ground deformation.
